Peripheral Artery Disease

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), also known as peripheral vascular disease, can cause leg discomfort, numbness, delayed healing of wounds and other symptoms. A PAD screening in our office with our team of highly trained medical professionals can help identify blockages and treat symptoms through medical management or minimally invasive procedures such as angioplasty or stenting.

Common Symptoms

  • Intermittent claudication: Pain, cramping, or burning in the legs or feet that occurs during exercise and improves with rest

  • Coldness in the affected limbs

  • Shiny, smooth skin

  • Minimal wound healing despite antibiotic therapy and wound care

  • Leg weakness or numbness

  • Hair loss on the legs

  • Skin discoloration (redness, change in color)
