Our clinic is led by Dr. Ellis Christian, a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with over 15 years of experience caring for patients with heart and vascular conditions. Dr. Christian completed an accredited interventional cardiology fellowship and is fully licensed and board-certified to perform a wide range of advanced procedures.

Dr. Ellis Christian

Dr. Ellis Christian is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and vascular specialist serving the Treasure Coast region of Florida. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, completed his residency at the University of Chicago, and followed with fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Tennessee.

Dr. Christian is affiliated with HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital, HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, Florida Coast Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Martin South, and Cleveland Clinic Martin North. His expertise includes complex coronary and peripheral interventions, with a focus on minimally invasive treatments for vascular disease. He is committed to delivering expert, patient-centered care with compassion and clinical excellence.

Alina Herrera, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Alina Herrera brings a strong clinical background and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to cardiovascular care.

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she is dedicated to helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their healthcare journey. Mrs. Herrera earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University and her undergraduate nursing degree from Daytona State College.

Before advancing into cardiology, she worked as a registered nurse in a variety of specialties, gaining valuable experience caring for patients with diverse medical needs. She later practiced in primary care as a Nurse Practitioner after obtaining board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Kathly Jean-Gilles, NP

Kathly Jean-Gilles is a trusted Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 19 years of experience as an advanced practice registered nurse. Mrs. Jean-Gilles earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College and completed additional doctoral-level training in Family Practice. She is licensed in Florida and currently accepts new patients.

Known for providing attentive and ongoing patient care, Mrs. Jean-Gilles focuses on helping patients feel supported through preventive care, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness. Her background in family practice and primary care allows her to care for patients with a wide range of medical needs while emphasizing accessibility, continuity, and individualized treatment.
